Join us for a day of family fun! Run in our 5K road race or help raise funds through personal sponsorships in our 2-mile Walk for Hope. Whatever your speed, you’ll enjoy this fun-filled morning with other friends of Expectations Women’s Center. Below you’ll find more information about how you can bring hope to our community by fundraising on behalf of Expectations Women’s Center through our Walk for Hope and links to register. Start times for these events have been coordinated so that you can even register for both!

Walk for Hope: Details

As a Walk for Hope participant, you’ll have the opportunity to collect your own sponsors for our 2-mile walk, and can earn prizes when you reach fundraising goals (see amounts and prizes below).

This year, you can choose to join with us in-person at Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton, or if you prefer, walk in your own neighborhood. At Christ Wesleyan, we’ll begin our 2-mile walk at 10:30 am. This is a family-friendly event for people of all ages, and groups and extended families are welcome.

Do you want to walk for hope? It’s easy – here’s how to get started:

Step 1 – Register now to attend our in-person event or walk virtually – this will help us plan snacks, t-shirts and activities for the day. Register by April 26 to guarantee your t-shirt.

Step 2 – Create your own fundraising webpage to begin collecting sponsorships electronically. Take our template and make it your own. All gifts you collect will count toward your personal fundraising total and will be deposited directly to Expectations Women’s Center. (If you would like a paper fundraising form please contact Caryn.) Not interested in fundraising? We understand – and we appreciate your support at the event!

Step 3 – Start fundraising! Share your fundraising page via social media, text, and/or email There will be prizes awarded to the top adult (18+), youth (under 18), and team who raise the most. Plus, another familiar challenge will be revealed at the event.

Step 4 – Walk! We’ll have fun together as we walk a paved 2-mile course on Christ Wesleyan’s campus. Enjoy great snacks, and family-friendly activities. Signed up for the virtual option? Great – you can plan to walk a 2-mile course in your neighborhood.

Walk: Individual Registration

Are you ready to walk for hope? As an individual you have the opportunity to create a simple fundraising page and gather financial support from family and friends who support the cause but may not be able to make it to the event. The first step is to register – get started by clicking the button below.

Walk: Team Registration

Is your organization, church or small group interested in teaming up for hope? If so, you have the opportunity to register as a team. No worries if you don’t have a final headcount yet – you can submit that later. For now, just click the button below to give us a few pieces of information to let us know your group is coming.

5K Run: Individual Registration

We’ve combined our Walk for Hope with our 5K Run. If you’re interested in our competitive 5K, you can register here for that timed event. Please note, packet pick-up is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and the 5K begins at 9:00 a.m. (earlier than the walk event). If you’re interested, you could even register for both events!
